This spring, prog-rock legends YES will play a string of shows in the weeks leading up to the prog-rock high-seas adventure Cruise to the Edge, which will set sail on March 27 out of Miami.

The four shows will take place in Florida and South Carolina, and will find Yes joined by special guest the Alan Parsons Live Project, which ought to make for a killer two-act bill each night. The dates:

THU 3/19 North Charleston, SC North Charleston PAC
SUN 3/22 Clearwater, FL Ruth Eckerd Hall
TUE 3/24 Jacksonville, FL Florida Theatre
WED 3/25 Ft. Lauderdale, FL Broward Center

“We can’t think of a better way to lead into our ‘Cruise To The Edge’ than with five shows in the Southeast,” says Steve Howe. Alan White concurs: “Florida and South Carolina in the spring sounds absolutely perfect for a British band like us. We look forward to seeing everyone for a night of YES music.”

At this point, YES is comprised of Steve Howe (guitar-joined 1970), Alan White (drums since 1972), Geoff Downes (keyboards; first joined in 1980), Jon Davison (vocals since 2011) and Billy Sherwood (guitar/keyboards in the 1990s and the late Chris Squire’s choice to take over bass/vocals in 2015), with Jay Schellen on additional drums.

As for Cruise to the Edge, the 2020 prog-rock adventure on the high seas features YES in addition to an array of acts, including Marillion, Steve Hackett, Flying Colors, Kings X, Anathema, Curved Air and many more:
