Yes Shares Video for “A Living Island,” from Prog-Rock Greats’ New Album ‘The Quest’

Legendary prog-rock band Yes has debuted a new music video for “A Living Island,” a song taken from the group’s latest studio album, The Quest.
The record was released to streaming platforms back in October, and Yes has been sharing a handful of videos in the weeks since.
Said Geoff Downes of the song:
“It is a combination of a few ideas I had that Jon developed beautifully, and it is a most fitting end track to the album complete with its majestic finale. Also, very proud that I’ve contributed another piece of music that has been added into the prestigious Yes canon.”
“Future Memories” also received a video:

The Quest was produced by Yes guitarist Steve Howe, who detailed a bit about how it came about in a news release (and in our recent interview):
“Much of the music was written in late 2019 with the rest in 2020. We commissioned several orchestrations to augment and enhance the overall sound of these fresh new recordings, hoping that our emphasis on melody, coupled with some expansive instrumental solo breaks, keeps up the momentum for our listeners.”
Yes are Howe, Alan White, Geoff Downes, Jon Davison and Billy Sherwood, and The Quest marks the band’s 22nd studio album to date and the first since 2014’s Heaven & Earth. It also marks Sherwood’s first with the band since 1999’s The Ladder, as he took over for founding bassist Chris Squire following Squire’s 2015 passing.
