Woodstock 50 Reveals Loaded Lineup for Three-Day Anniversary Festival in August

Woodstock 50, a 50th anniversary mega-concert event set for Watkins Glen — near the original site of the 1969 Woodstock concert event in Bethel, New York — revealed its lineup on Tuesday night. This event, a separate concert from the one planned in Bethel (featuring Ringo Starr and Santana, who premiered a new single this weekpremiered a new single this week), was put together by original Woodstock co-creator Michael Lang, and features a pretty stacked lineup filled with old and new.

From legendary acts such as Santana, Dead & Company, David Crosby, Country Joe McDonald, and John Fogerty — all of which original performers from Woodstock ’69 — to newer acts like Black Keys, Greta Van Fleet, Gary Clark Jr., Halsey, Reignwolf and A-list contemporary icons like Jay-Z, this ought to appeal to fans of all genres, really.

    There’s nothing epic about soiling the memory of Woodstock with the inclusion of Miles Cirus and rap .. who wants misogynist lyrics and anthems of hate at a festival associated with love and peace ? Jimi and Janis and Jerry Garcia must be turning in their graves .,
