Wallows has kept busy during COVID-19 pandemic — and the Los Angeles indie/pop trio featuring actor Dylan Minnette of Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why, Braeden Lemasters, an actor known for roles such as Men of a Certain Age and Cole Preston — wants to make sure you’re ready to vote this coming November.

In connection to Tuesday being National Voter Registration Day, the band teamed up with HeadCount.org for a special offer to fans.

“Bad Remake” is a previously unheard song from the album sessions that resulted in Wallows’ 2019 debut record, Nothing Happens, and the band is offering it up for free in exchange for a visit to this link, where you can check your voter status, register or pledge to vote (whichever applies to you).

In addition to this bit of inspired activism ahead of the General Election on Nov. 3, Wallows also recently shared a new music video for “Nobody Gets Me (Like You),” a song from teh band’s new Remote EP due out on Oct. 23.

The EP will be the first new music from Wallows in a few months, and features six new songs recorded in quarantine.

Wallows will close out its “Virtual World Tour” of shows at the Roxy Theatre in Hollywood this Sunday, Sept. 27, the fourth “virtual concert” the band has shared with fans in recent weeks. Ticket information for the live stream is available at this link.
