Toto to Close Out ’40 Trips Around the Sun’ World Tour with 20 North American Shows This Fall

It’s been a bit of a renaissance period for the band Toto lately — not only was their classic hit “Africa” given new life by Weezer’s cover, but the band’s 40 Trips Around the Sun greatest hits package has served as the basis for a lengthy victory lap of concerts around the world since its release.

This fall, Toto will head back to North America for a 20-date extension of the tour, it was announced this week.

From the band’s news release:

TOTO will now conclude the almost two year long 40 Trips Around The Sun Tour with twenty final shows in North America. The tour will kick off in Los Angeles on September 20th at The Wiltern. Tickets for all shows go on sale this Friday 10AM local time. American Express Card® Members can purchase tickets in select markets before the general public beginning this Wednesday, May 1 at 10AM local time through Thursday, May 2 at 10PM local time.
