Toto: ‘With a Little Help from My Friends’ Live Album Out 6/25; Watch “Till the End” Performance Clip (Pre-Order)

On June 25, Toto will release With a Little Help from My Friends, a new live album culled from the legendary group‘s November 2020 live stream performance. The live show featured the band’s new lineup, making this the ensemble’s first live release as a unit.

Joining Steve Lukather, David Paich and Joseph Williams for this concert include John Pierce (Huey Lewis and The News), drummer Robert “Sput” Searight (Ghost-Note / Snarky Puppy), and keyboardist / background vocalist Steve Maggiora (Robert Jon & The Wreck), while keyboardist Dominique “Xavier” Taplin (Prince, Ghost-Note) and multi-instrumentalist / vocalist Warren Ham (Ringo Starr) returned from their roles as part of Toto’s most recent touring lineup, as well.

As a preview of the live set, Toto debuted a performance video of “Till the End,” a track from 1986’s Fahrenheit:

Of this new group of musicians under the Toto name, Lukather said “The TOTO model holds strong and true. A band of the very best musicians and singers writing and performing all manner of cool songs. That’s how it began, and that’s how it continues.”

Once released, the live set is the latest new release from Lukather and Williams, who both released interconnected solo albums in February.
