The Who Treats Austin, Texas to Deep, Career-Spanning Set at ‘The Who Hits Back!’ Tour Stop (PHOTOS)

On Tuesday night, legendary English rockers The Who continued their recently launched The Who Hits Back! tour with a rousing, 21-song performance at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas.
During a powerhouse performance that spanned more than two hours, The Who — which for this tour finds Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend backed by Simon Townshend, keyboardist Loren Gold, second keyboardist Emily Marshall, bassist Jon Button, drummer Zak Starkey and backing vocals by Billy Nicholls along with orchestra conductor Keith Levenson, lead violinist Katie Jacoby and lead cellist Audrey Snyder — delighted the crowd at the recently opened venue.

The Who Hits Back! tour, presented by Live Nation, continues in the spring until the end of May, before picking back up in the fall. An assortment of very special guests will join the band on the road, including Amythyst Kiah, Los Lonely Boys, Mike Campbell & the Dirty Knobs and more.
The Who’s tour is also part of Live Nation’s Concert Week promotion, which runs until May 10 and offers $25 all-in concert tickets to shows around the country.
