The Black Keys are out on the road promoting their new album, Let’s Rock, which was released in late June and harkens back to the duo’s bluesy rock roots with the precision you’d expect from a band this far into its career.
On Monday night, guitarist/vocalist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney (backed by their touring band, Andrew Gabbard and Delicate Steve on guitar, and Zachary Gabbard on bass) appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live — for the first time! — to play two songs from the record.
And here’s “Lo/Hi,” which was the first song released from the album in advance of full effort, the Black Keys’ ninth overall:
Let’s Rock debuted No. 1 on the US Top Current Albums Chart, and also became their third consecutive Top 10 album in the United Kingdom.
