In late 2019, The Black Crowes announced pretty significant plans: Brothers Chris and Rich Robinson announced that the seminal blues/rock band would be touring throughout Summer 2020, playing all of the band’s 1990 debut Shake Your Money Maker in honor of its 30th anniversary. Rolling Stone notes that bassist Sven Pipien, who played with the Robinson brothers up until the band’s hiatus in 2015, is back in the mix for the new dates.

That, of course, didn’t happen due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with the Crowes rescheduling to Summer 2021 — and that tour will, indeed, take place, though Monday brought with it news of a new schedule that begins on July 20 in Nashville. Along for the fun will be Dirty Honey, which seems to be a perfect fit for the Crowes’ demographic.
