The rumors were true: The Black Crowes are, indeed, back together and will embark on a big tour in 2020, performing the classic 1990 album Shake Your Money Maker in its entirety each night.

The news was officially announced on Monday, as brothers Chris Robinson and Rich Robinson have ended a lengthy time apart and will convene once again for the 30th anniversary of the album, which launched the blues/rock band to stardom three decades ago.

Quotes from each Robinson, provided in the news release:

Chris Robinson says of reuniting, “I’m thrilled & blessed to be playing with my brother celebrating the music we’ve made & bringing our lives together full circle. Long live Rock n’ Roll & The Black Crowes!”

Rich Robinson adds, “First and foremost, I’m really happy to have my brother back in my life. To be able to play music again together and celebrate the first record we made as kids, is a gift. To have these songs stand up after 30 years is something I could’ve never fathomed.”

As for who is accompanying the Robinsons on this tour, Rolling Stone has that info:

The duo enlisted all-new members that include guitarist Isiah Mitchell of psych-rock band Earthless, veteran session bassist Tim LeFebvre who appeared on David Bowie’s Blackstar and keyboardist Joel Robinow and drummer Ojha of prog/psych-pop group Once and Future Band.

Tickets for the lengthy tour, which will take place for much of 2020, will start in June 2020 and go until September, where it is currently scheduled to wrap up on Sept. 19, 2020 at the Forum in Los Angeles.

Shake Your Money Maker launched the Black Crowes to superstardom, led by singles like “She Talks to Angels,” “Hard to Handle” and “Jealous Again,” showcasing their ability to bring generations of blues/rock fans together.
