Today, Aug. 27, The Beach Boys and Capitol/UMe have unloaded from the vaults for a special box set commemorating 50 years of some of the legendary group’s timeless albums.

Feel Flows – The Sunflower and Surf’s Up Sessions 1969-1971, available now on digital platforms and in a number of physical editions, provides a bounty of material for dedicated fans interested in that specific era of the group’s catalog.

In all, the Feel Flows collection features remastered versions of the Sunflower and Surf’s Up albums, spanning 135 tracks, including 108 previously unreleased tracks, live recordings, radio promos, alternate versions, alternate mixes, isolated backing tracks and a cappella versions, culled from the album sessions.’

The package is housed in a book-style presentation, with (per a news release) new liner notes from radio veteran and Beach Boys aficionado Howie Edelson, and new and archival interviews from Al Jardine, Brian Wilson, Bruce Johnston, Carl Wilson, Dennis Wilson, Mike Love, and others.
