The recent reunion news from Temple of the Dog — the early ’90s project featuring Soundgarden‘s Chris Cornell and Pearl Jam‘s Jeff Ament, Mike McCready and Stone Gossard (with an assist from Eddie Vedder) — was rather loud, considering the band mapped out a 25th anniversary few saw coming.
In celebration of that and the also-announced reissue of the supergroup’s only album, Rolling Stone has premiered Black Cat, a demo take previously unheard by all but the most dedicated of Temple fans. Stream the track below:

The reissued album is up for pre-order now and will be released on September 30.
