New Music Friday: Stream Foo Fighters Drummer Taylor Hawkins' Rollicking Solo Mini-LP 'Kota'
Because nobody in the Foo Fighters is ever *really* taking a break, even if their main band takes an official timeout, Taylor Hawkins has unleashed a new mini-LP today titled Kota.
Led by the ferocious pre-release track “Range Rover Bitch,” Kota is another entry to Hawkins’ ever-growing list of solo material — and he is the principal musician on everything you hear on Kota, too. Stream it below via Spotify:
Fans interested in a physical copy of the mini-LP can snatch up a vinyl edition at Hawkins’ official store.
The Foo Fighters are presumably going to get back to business soon as they work on a follow-up to Sonic Highways — and their website’s curious activity this week just may suggest that we’ll hear something sooner rather than later…
