You may know Taylor Hawkins as the drummer for the Foo Fighters, but he also enjoys work outside the globe-trotting alt/rock heroes fronting his own band, Taylor Hawkins & the Coattail Riders.

In early November, Hawkins and his crew released a new record, Get the Money, which was more or less a rock and roll party with A-list special guests like his pals Dave Grohl, Perry Farrell of Jane’s Addiction, Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses, Yes’ Jon Davison, Chrissie Hynde, Joe Walsh and more.

Grohl and Farrell lend their services to “I Really Blew It,” a song that the ensemble performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live recently and aired Tuesday evening. It’s wild:

That performance pretty much captures the madness of the song’s official music video, which came complete with a flaming Grohl head, soap opera theatrics and more.

Hawkins also premiered another music video, this one for the song “Middle Child,” which stars his daughter and real-life “middle child,” Annabelle:

It’s good Hawkins scratched the itch of his solo career when he did, as the Foo Fighters are gearing up for some big activities in 2020, having already started a teaser campaign on social media that seems to be hinting at some new music …
