Hear ‘Three Wishes,’ a New Stone Temple Pilots Song from the Band’s Upcoming Acoustic Album ‘Perdida’

On Feb. 7, Stone Temple Pilots will release Perdida, the band’s first-ever acoustic album.
Featuring compositions written/recorded by guitarist Dean DeLeo, bassist Robert DeLeo, drummer Eric Kretz and vocalist Jeff Gutt specifically for an acoustic arrangement, this will mark a first for the group. It will also be the second official release with Gutt, who has been the band’s lead singer since November 2017, when he took over for Scott Weiland (who passed away in 2015).
On Thursday, Stone Temple Pilots previewed Perdida with a track called “Three Wishes: ”

The haunting “Three Wishes” is the second song released from the record so far, following “Fare Thee Well” in early December:

Back when the band first announced the project, this message accompanied the news:
Hi everyone, We’d like to tell you about our new record, Perdida. It will arrive on February 7th. It’s a collection of 10 songs with an acoustic foundation. The kind of record we’ve been wanting to make for years. We are thrilled to share it with all of you and we will be setting out on tour in February playing several songs from the new record along with many other songs from our catalog. We look forward to seeing all of you and as always… we love you.
See you soon.
