St. Vincent Plots Massive U.S. Tour in Support of Ambitious New Album ‘Daddy’s Home’

On May 13, St. Vincent added to her unpredictable and fiercely original catalog of music with Daddy’s Home, a heavily themed new album.

It’s one of the year’s biggest releases in the alt/rock realm, and the singer/songwriter will take it on the road beginning in early September for a U.S. tour hitting 20+ cities and outdoor venues across the country.

The dates, as announced this week:

St. Vincent and her Down and Out Downtown Band turned up on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night to perform the song “Down,” with camera filters making the appearance look like it was filmed in 1976, matching the album’s throwback vibe:
