Final Entry in the Rolling Stones’ ‘Extra Licks!’ YouTube Series: Rare Performances from Voodoo Lounge Tour 1994, Up Sunday 6/7

For a little over a month, the Rolling Stones have been dipping into the vaults for a series of archival YouTube uploads of bonus live footage culled from their decades of touring around the world.

The Extra Licks! series comes to an end this Sunday, June 7, with a selection of rare performances taken from the band‘s show at Giants Stadium in August 1994, as part of the Voodoo Lounge tour. The songs being featured were not part of the regular set list for the tour as a whole.

The show will begin streaming Sunday, June 7 at 3 pm. ET/12 p.m. PT, and should be available to watch after the fact for those who can’t tune in when it goes “live.”

Available digitally for the first time—the #ExtraLicks Voodoo Lounge Tour performances will appear as a YouTube Premiere, continuing the streaming of a series of bonus features from six concert films from the band’s career. This series is in partnership with The Rolling Stones and Eagle Rock Entertainment, and will stream exclusively on YouTube.

The legendary rock band launched this series in recent weeks as an incentive for fans to stay home and remain safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, while also taking the opportunity to dive into the vaults for some rarely seen footage sure to entertain the masses.

As part of YouTube’s #StayHome campaign, The Rolling Stones launched a weekly series entitled “Extra Licks”, continuing this Sunday May 17th at 12pmPT / 3pmET/ 8pmBST. Each YouTube Premiere will stream the bonus features of six concert films from throughout their career, including performances from the 1994 Voodoo Lounge Tour and the 2016 Latin America Ole! Tour. Available digitally for the first time, this six-part weekly series will feature bonus footage from some of the band’s most memorable concerts around the world.
