Last month, Roger Waters uploaded a video of he and his band performing the Pink Floyd classic “Mother” while maintaining social distance — a bit of entertainment during COVID-19 pandemic quarantine.

Over the weekend, Waters uploaded a second performance clip from himself and his band. The musicians have found themselves with an abundance of free time during the pandemic, with WatersThis Is Not A Drill tour postponed to 2021.

The new clip finds them all tackling “Two Suns in the Sunset,” the closing track to Pink Floyd’s 1983 album The Final Cut.

This follows the first upload, “Mother”:

As Waters explained, this is part of a new project he’s considered, stemming from the songs they played in the encore of the U.S. US and Them tour:

I had an idea to make an album of all the songs we did as encores on the US and Them tour.

We did “Mother” first.

Had to do it remotely because of Covid 19.

“Two Suns in The Sunset” is #2.

Hope you like it. I love it.

What a beautiful band they are.

PS. That we allow Nuclear Weapons to exist in a world controlled by deranged sociopaths is, in itself, a deranged arrangement.

We are many they are few.

We could just say no, to the whole MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) insanity.

It makes zero sense and is potentially omnicidal.

As for Roger Waters’ US + THEM documentary film chronicling his triumphant live tour, the film was released via digital platforms on June 16.
