Queen + Adam Lambert have something exciting up their sleeve.
On Monday, the classic rock band‘s social media pages were updated with a teaser video promising … some type of very special concert event scheduled for September 28, 2019:

Where will this be? What does #PowerTheMovement mean? Speculation is rampant and widespread, and nobody knows for sure.
This teaser comes at a time of heightened activity and excitement around the band, of course, given the runaway success of the 2018 Freddie Mercury/Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, as well as the band’s ongoing tour with Adam Lambert.
Back in February, Queen + Adam Lambert performed that classic medley of “We Will Rock You” and “We Are The Champions” to open the Academy Awards, which was a fitting start to the evening considering that the Bohemian Rhapsody film would go on to take home several Oscars on the night:
This mysterious concert event coming up in late September is in the midst of a heavy touring run for the band, which has a bunch of North American gigs coming up soon before heading to Korea, Japan, New Zealand and Australia for much of 2020.
As for the ‘one of the world’s most iconic landmarks’ tag in the teaser clip, well … there’s no telling just what this will be, but there’s little doubt it’ll be huge. Stonehenge? Yankee Stadium? The pyramids? Somewhere else? Somewhere bigger, more massive?
Stay tuned …
