‘Nick Mason’s Saucerful Of Secrets – Live At The Roundhouse’ Album/Film Release Moved Back to 9/18

Due to the current global crisis of the coronavirus pandemic, an upcoming release from Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets project will now be released on Sept. 18, a few months after its original release date of April 17.

Nick Mason’s Saucerful Of Secrets – Live At The Roundhouse captures the Saucerful of Secrets project, which has found the iconic musician touring the world, playing classics from the early days of Pink Floyd to rapturous crowds appreciative of a trip back through time.

The special live concert film/album will be released on Sept. 18, and can be previewed below with a recent clip:

The recording comes from a gig at the Roundhouse in London in May 2019. A few months previous, Mason spoke with Rock Cellar’s Jeff Slate about his forays back into the early days of his Floyd career, and some of the emotions that come with playing that material again:

Nick Mason, Gary Kemp, Guy Pratt, Lee Harris and Dom Beken, aka Nick Mason’s Saucerful Of Secrets, came together with the simple idea of playing some early Pink Floyd – the songs pre ‘Dark Side Of The Moon’ – that had not been given a live outing for decades!
