What do you do if you’re a 10-year-old music prodigy who just took down a legend in a drum battle? Well, if you’re 10-year-old Nandi Bushell, basking in the glow of a triumphant victory over Dave Grohl (who conceded defeat!), you ramp the energy up a notch.

In Bushell’s latest video, she shared a clip of her first attempt at drumming with double pedals … and she chose Slipknot‘s pummeling “Unsainted,” from the heavy metal marauders’ 2019 album We Are Not Your Kind, as her focus.

It’s … intense, with Bushell admitting she’s a “total metal head” along with the clip:

Yes! I am a total metal head! I love how awesome the drumming is in @Slipknot ! This is my first attempt at double pedals! Taking my playing to the next level.

Jay Weinberg, Slipknot’s drummer, was thoroughly impressed with the homage:

Nandi!! You’re unreal! I’m blown away by your passion and energy. Keep shredding on those drums! Next time we roll through your town, give me a shout — you gotta show me how you do that stick flip right there

Thanks to the internet, Nandi Bushell just keeps making high profile friends during her quick ascent in the rock and roll world. She now counts Weinberg, Grohl, Tom Morello and more among her group of awestruck rock and roll icons — so the sky is very much the limit for this gifted young musician.

And did we mention she’s a multi-instrumentalist, too? Because she is.

She also jams with her father sometimes:

And her brother!

We are truly not worthy.
