Man In The Moon
Man In The Moon is the origin story of Travis Morningstar. It shows how an artist is created through love and pain. The first two songs “Indigo” and “4 am” paint a happy picture with the joys of a relationship and the dreamlike state that it creates. This is reflected in the music, which is more pop-like and smooth. That quickly fades at the beginning of the third song “Novacaine” as a more somber tone is realized and the darker side of things is revealed. Ultimately that pain is overcome in the last song “Man In The Moon” as the artist realizes things for what they are and is able to detach himself from the experience and look at it as neither good nor bad but rather something that he went through.

Last Trip
Mainly inspired by space, a bit psychedelic sometimes and also deal with environmental issues. That's the way you can read our debut Ep "Last Trip". As if in the near future we had to choose to leave the poor polluted earth for something else....

Out of My Head
Out of My Head is an Electro, Alternative-Pop track that uses electric guitars, electric bass, drum machine and synthesizers. The song portrays a darker and eerie sound that was heavily influenced by Alanis Morissette, Trent Reznor, Billie Eilish, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Nightmare On Elm Street. The song has a double meaning. In the verse’s, ALiBRA is recognizing that she’s too much inside of her head which is causing her to get in her own way of success. She is then simply stating that she needs to get out of her head and stop overthinking. Because she’s unable to do so, she then becomes out of her head in the sense that she’s gone crazy which is reflected in the chorus. By the time we reach the first half of the bridge, she has an epiphany that it’s been her ego talking all along which is why she can’t get out of her own way. The 2nd half of the bridge she demands that she’s not going to allow her ego to take over. But by trying to kill her ego she is ultimately still getting in her way and then once again becomes out of her head.

Seeing Red
Released in February 2020, CYNICS’ debut Ep ’Seeing Red’ features three, contrasting tracks. The lyrics talk about the challenges of growing up in todays society, and is definitely a very honest narrative. A combination of catchy melodies and heavy instrumentals come to life when played on stage. CYNICS hope that one day their music may help other people in the same way their favourite bands have helped them through times of difficulty.

Voices
Sharing musical influences and experiences for many years, they have found the right synergy taking you on musical journeys from the harmonic bending of John Lennon, through the jangly perfection of Tom Petty, up to the atmospheric rock of Tears For Fears. Their songs contain so much and yet sound simple and wonderfully complete.

Illunis
In movies, Technicolor enhances each color on the screen. Each track on our album is a color that represents a period of time growing up in Los Angeles. Technicolor takes you through a journey of growth and nostalgia. It is new wine aged in old oak. We are Illunis, a hat wearing Folk-Rock band from the San Fernando Valley. If Queen and Mumford & Sons had a baby, we would be that spawn.

Colours You Can’t See
"Colours You Can't See - deluxe edition" are the emotions and feelings that we carry around with us every day that we don't let other people know about,” shares LiLi Joy. “Some of them we'd be proud to wear on our sleeve while the others, not so much. All of the songs on the EP were written during a time where I was isolated with myself and my emotions.. As a result of that, I hope from the bottom of my heart that people can feel unashamed of being the beautiful, complex confusions that they truly are.”

Canciones de Cuarentena
As soon as the pandemic hit and everything shut down in Los Angeles my roommate and I lost all work given that we make our living through live performances. We didn't really know what to do and we couldn't keep recording at the studio we were going to because we needed to save our money for rent. Thankfully, I had invested in a small home studio setup that I hadn't had the time to mess around with so we decided to record from home and see what would happen. The result was a 5 track EP of original songs that we had created during quarantine. This EP is a testament to our ability to adapt when things take an abrupt change.

Raised On Porn
Millennials are the first generation to grow up exposed to internet pornography, highly photoshopped digital advertisements, skyrocketing rates of cosmetic surgery, webcam models, online sugar dating, and so much more. We live in a sex sells culture that favors Instagram butt models over intelligence, follower count over human connection, and luxury branding over compelling narratives. I wrote the songs on this album while navigating relationships, fighting through inauthenticity and phoniness, dating, and going through a time of self- discovery, trying to be deeply honest with myself.
