Today, May 8, is Motörhead Day. It helps to refer to the date as “The 8th of May,” as in the legendary hard rock band‘s song “Ace of Spades.” Get it?

Here’s a brand new video for the classic track, premiered on Friday:

It’s a whole thing.

And so on. Now that we’re on the same page, what, exactly is Motörhead Day? Well, per a press release, it’s a way to come together globally — despite COVID-19 lockdown — and celebrate the band’s 1980 album, Ace of Spades, which tuns 40 years old in 2020.
