Motion City Soundtrack Announces Rescheduled ‘Commit This to Memory’ 17th Anniversary Tour for Summer 2022

Motion City Soundtrack has tried for a few years now to tour in commemoration of the 15th anniversary of its breakthrough 2005 album, Commit This To Memory. First, the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic caused a delay in 2020, the actual 15th anniversary year of the record, and subsequent pandemic-related delays pushed it back to late 2021.
The tour was quickly halted, again, due to positive COVID tests in and around the band, forcing yet another postponement. On Friday, Motion City Soundtrack announced a new schedule of tour dates for the tour, which is now a 17th-anniversary outing, of sorts.
The new shows will begin on June 7 in Chicago and carry the band around the country before wrapping with two hometown shows in Minneapolis in late July.
Hi! We are so excited to announce that our postponed tour is now officially re-scheduled and we hope to see you this Summer in your city! All tickets purchased for the postponed dates will be honored for the new dates, and if you haven’t yet purchased your tickets they, they are back on sale now.
Thank you for all of your support, patience, kind words, and general all-around awesomeness.
Love,
Justin, Josh, Jesse, Matt, Tony
