Metallica’s set list for that gig in Copenhagen featured five Death Magnetic tracks as well as classics from the heavy metal band‘s vaunted career, so there’s a little bit for everybody in the show:
The Ecstasy of Gold (Ennio Morricone song)
That Was Just Your Life
The End of the Line
Holier Than Thou
Broken, Beat & Scarred
The Four Horsemen
Sad But True
The Judas Kiss
The Day That Never Comes
Master of Puppets
Nothing Else Matters
Stone Cold Crazy (Queen cover)
Trapped Under Ice
Seek & Destroy
This was the band’s message to fans when first announcing the Metallica Mondays series — a great way to keep the live music going while stuck at home due to the coronavirus pandemic:
While we’re all doing our part and staying home, we find ourselves missing live music, so how about we dive back into a few of our favorite shows at a socially responsible distance? Not to sound too cheesy, but now more than ever, we’re in this together, and staying connected is how we’ll get through it. With that in mind, we’re bringing a series of Live Metallica shows right to your couch!
The first show uploaded was a gig from Slane Castle in Ireland, circa June 8, 2019:
