Luck Reunion ‘‘Til Further Notice’ Livestream Concert Event Tonight 3/19, ft. Willie Nelson, Jewel, Nathaniel Rateliff, Kurt Vile, Lucinda Williams and More

As the coronavirus pandemic inspires more and more innovation and creativity, musicians and artists have been putting together some methods of keeping music alive — and tonight, March 19, Willie Nelson and a host of other musicians will participate in ‘Til Further Notice, a free livestream event put on by Luck Productions — the organizers behind Nelson’s Luck Reunion, which was canceled as a result of the ongoing pandemic.
As the Instagram post above detailed, it will be entirely free to watch via Luck Productions’ official website, Twitch or Facebook from 6-11 p.m. CST (4-9 p.m. CST).
This is all the result of the 2020 Luck Reunion festival — with this virtual concert event popping up as a means of keeping the event in action … sort of.
Other participating acts have announced their participation, including indie rocker Kurt Vile:
Kurt will be performing as a part of @luckreunion's "Til Further Notice" tonight. Tune in at 6 central, Kurt plays at 930 central.

This is the latest example of musicians making special arrangements due to the confusing and tense nature of our current reality, one in which tours have been canceled, bars and restaurants closed, supermarkets ransacked and confusion abound as global concern over the pandemic continues to dominate and change our way of life.
In addition to Rolling Stone launching a special live series with Brian Wilson on Tuesday, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, U2’s Bono, Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie, Michael Stipe of R.E.M., the Dropkick Murphys, John Legend and others are among those who’ve adopted this method of keeping the music alive — and keeping souls enriched a bit, as we all navigate the difficulty of the situation before us.
