Liam Gallagher Returns with the Snarling New Single ‘Shockwave’ (Listen)

Clearly not content to sit back and watch his brother get all the headlines about his new music, Liam Gallagher roared back with a new single titled “Shockwave” on Friday.

Featuring a lead guitar riff reminiscent of the Kinks, “Shockwave” is Gallagher’s first bit of new music since his 2017 solo album As You Were. Stream the song below:

Given the long-standing feud between Liam and his brother, Noel Gallagher, it’s tough to read lyrics like this and not see the correlation:

You’re a snake, you’re a weasel
You’re a tadpole in the sea
