Korn: New Album 'The Serenity of Suffering' Coming 10/21, 'Rotting in Vain' Video Premiered – and It's Aggressive
Would you believe Korn is preparing to release its 12th studio album?
On October 21, the long-running hard rock/metal band will do just that, when The Serenity of Suffering is unleashed via Roadrunner Records. The band previewed the LP recently with a music video for the pummeling track Rotting in Vain, which should appeal to longtime fans of the Bakersfield group, which has done some definite experimentation over the years. The clip stars Sons of Anarchy‘s Tommy Flanagan as well as the musicians themselves, take a look:
Korn’s most recent album, 2013’s The Paradigm Shift, was the first since guitarist Brian ‘Head’ Welch rejoined the group after a lengthy time away — a period that led to Welch’s revealing new memoir, by the way.
The Serenity of Suffering track listing:
- Insane
- Rotting In Vain
- Black Is The Soul
- The Hating
- A Different World (feat. Corey Taylor)
- Take Me
- Everything Falls Apart
- Die Yet Another Night
- When You’re Not There
- Next In Line
- Please Come For Me
In addition to the news about the new album, Korn is also out on the road with Rob Zombie on the ‘Return of the Dreads’ tour, and will be on the road for the foreseeable future. View their full schedule below, and stay tuned for more news!
