Jeff Bridges Shares Lymphoma Treatment Update: He’s ‘Elated’ After Tumor Has ‘Drastically Shrunk’

Beloved actor/activist/musician Jeff Bridges has issued another update on his website and social media channels regarding his ongoing treatment for lymphoma, and the latest update is a good one: He says his tumor has “drastically shrunk” as a result of treatment.
“I came home elated with the news,” Bridges shared in stylized font on his website.

More from his message, which also touches on the other headlines in the United States the past week or so:
Jan 6
I go in for a CAT scan to see if my new protocol is shrinking my tumor. Turns out it’s working beautifully. The thing has drastically shrunk. I come home elated with the news. I turn on the TV to find out what’s going on in the world and … well … I don’t have to tell you what’s goin’ on. To see our country attacking itself broke my heart. A question rose in me — what’s an individual to do in a situation like this?
My mentor, Rozzell Sykes, came to mind. His mantra was Be Love.
Previous updates from Jeff Bridges urged similar sentiments of positivity and unity, always close to the heart of “The Dude.” In mid-December, he took the opportunity to introduce the world to his new pal, a puppy named Monty:
Here’s the latest:
• Feeling good
• Shaved my head
• Got a puppy – Monty

Needless to say, we offer our deepest well wishes and hopes of healing to Jeff Bridges in his ongoing fight. And here’s hoping for more adorable photos of Monty the puppy!
(We at Rock Cellar remain appreciative of his participation in All Together Now! – an online concert event for the city of Los Angeles’ Coronavirus Relief Fund during the COVID-19 pandemic that Rock Cellar helped put on back in April, and the spirited video message he provided in support of the cause).
Great news, Jeff!
I’m glad to hear it. Cancer has been a scourge in my family so I’m glad to hear when somebody is kicking it’s ass! Get well and stay well, Brother. Peace
