One of the songs on the album, “Man from the Magazine,” seemed particularly suited for a video, its lyrics and overall theme very representative of the album’s focus as a whole. Haim shared a new video for the song on Wednesday, and it depicts singer Danielle Haim perched behind the deli counter at Canter’s in Los Angeles.

Said Haim of the video:

“This video was filmed the day we shot the cover for ‘WIMPIII’ at Canter’s Deli in Hollywood. Paul came up with the idea after hearing the whole record and we both felt strongly that this song in particular needed a visual, so Danielle put on a mic and sang it live in the middle of the deli.”

Haim also recently performed “Gasoline” for Jimmy Kimmel Live outside the Forum in Los Angeles:

Listening to Women in Music Pt. III, it’s obvious that lack of boundaries was the best thing to happen to the band for this record. The album’s 13 songs defy the “boxing-in” that can come with sticking to a specific genre, allowing their creativity to breathe and expand accordingly.

Women in Music Pt. III presents a band as confident as it’s ever been, the Haim sisters in full grasp of their own powers (Danielle Haim is among its producers, along with Rostam Batmanglij and Ariel Rechtshaid.

“Summer Girl,” a single released in July 2019 that lands as a bonus track on the album, is a highlight, a laid-back, jazzy arrangement with a musical nod to Lou Reed’s “Walk On the Wild Side” (Reed is listed among the song’s writers):
