Gifting Suite Highlights from the 2019 Academy Awards

0

A few weeks back, Rock Cellar had the honor of taking part in a gifting suite affiliated with the 91st Academy Awards. There, we came face-to-face with some truly intriguing and unique products, from healthcare to clean living and much more.

Some of the companies represented that caught our attention the most were …

CoCaBee (Visit website)

Created by Amanda Lavery, who was fed up with the mysterious ingredients that went into the cosmetics she used on a regular basis, CoCaBee seeks to provide organic options for the more health-conscious.

“I started reading more labels, checking the ingredients and researching the methods of how products we consume are created,” Lavery explained in a statement provided by CoCaBee. “To put it mildly, it’s a little scary to find out what we are really taking in.”

After a significant amount of work and testing, Lavery developed a 100% organic lip balm using only raw, natural ingredients such as coconut oil.

Nectar Of The Dogs Wine (Visit Website)

Nice wordplay, eh? Nectar Of The Dogs Wine was created by Melanie Garibay and Donna Graves, and sales of their line of wine lends a helping hand to dog rescue organizations — which simply could always use more funding.

The press kit for Nectar Of The Dogs Wine lists the dog rescue organizations that the company has made donations to so far, including:

All American Dachshund Rescue

Amanda Foundation

Bark Party

D.E.L.T.A. Rescue

English Springer Rescue America

Hollywood Huskies

spcaLA

Tony La Russa’s Animal Rescue Foundation

They’re always seeking new dog rescue organizations to get involved with their project, so visit the Nectar Of The Gods website for full information.

No Crap In It (Visit Website)

What started off as founder Feather Blake’s first beauty product, a coconut oil-based cleanser, has now turned into a successful business in the natural beauty products industry. No Crap In It speaks for itself, made with all-natural ingredients, including Aloe Vera, Himalayan Sea Salt and a variety of essential oils.

Feather Blake has built her company dedicated to creating safe, non-toxic products that leave the skin looking radiant and feeling moisturized. In addition to healthy skin products, No Crap In It sells a variety of products including over 20 essential oil roll blends made to help with anxiety, sleep, and cold/flu. All products are organic and never tested on animals.

Planet Protein Inc. (Visit Website)

The lack of access to clean, nutritional vegan products inspired founder Brenden Fitzgerald to launch Planet Protein Inc., a company driven by sustainability and health. Fitzgerald has created a company free from using ingredients that are harmful to the environment,  customers and employees alike.

All Planet Protein bars are made with organic ingredients, like pea protein, chia, and quinoa in addition to being gluten-free and vegan-friendly. Despite being plant-based, the bars are sold in two tasty flavors, Peanut Butter Cup and Cherry Almond Fudge. Planet Protein is a zero-waste company, incorporating a recycling program that allows customers to send back their wrappers, earn planet points and same money on their next purchase.
