At long last, Genesis is reforming — and the band will embark on a special tour this fall to mark the occasion.

Announced early Wednesday, the news comes after years of rumors and buzz surrounding the legendary band. Would they get back together, or wouldn’t they? It turns out, they will indeed — and this reunion involves Phil Collins, guitarist Mike Rutherford, keyboardist Tony Banks, Collins’ son Nic Collins on drums and guitarist/bassist Daryl Stuermer.

The anticipated tour will hit arenas in the UK and Ireland this fall … but here’s hoping there are more dates to follow.

Guitarist Steve Hackett is not involved in this reunion or tour, as he’s been caught up with his own prolific solo career of late (click here to read our recent interview regarding his 2019 album, At the Edge of Light).
