The juke box heroes (guitarist Mick Jones, Thom Gimbel, lead singer Kelly Hansen, bassist Jeff Pilson, keyboardist Michael Bluestein, guitarist Bruce Watson and drummer Chris Frazier) will deliver a marathon set of hits each night for fans, from “Double Vision” to “Cold As Ice,” among many others.
Said Hansen to Billboard in a statement about the Vegas news and how the band’s able to book such a significant run of gigs at this point in its career:
“I think it has to do with the quality of the songs,” he says, referencing that the band plays around 110 shows every year and just came back from a European tour.
“If you take a look at Foreigners’ catalog, there are 16 top 30 hits, and [in planning a show like this]the problem becomes what songs do you leave out. Do you do some songs acoustically or do you give them all the classic presentation? These are all discussions that we have in creating a set list, but you’re definitely going to hear all of the big ones for sure,” Hansen says.
