After the circumstances of 2020 ruined the massive plans the Foo Fighters had as a means of global touring domination in support of their 25th anniversary, Dave Grohl and the guys remained patient — and now, a year later, they will embark on their 25th 26th anniversary tour, the first dates of which were revealed on Tuesday.

This news comes on the heels of the alt/rock titans recently being named as headliners of the Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo and Bottlerock Napa Valley Music Festivals. So far, the Foo Fighters will play six headlining shows as a part of this tour, with more dates coming shortly:

• July 28 – The Andrew J Brady ICON Music Center – Cincinnati, OH
• July 30 – American Family Insurance Amphitheater – Milwaukee, WI
• August 3 – Hollywood Casino Amphitheater – St. Louis, MO
• August 5 – Azura Amphitheater – Bonner Springs, KS
• August 7 – The Zoo Amphitheater – Oklahoma City, OK
• August 9 – Isleta Amphitheater – Albuquerque, NM

* Radkey supports on all dates

A news release notes that, FF fans are advised to keep a watchful eye on foofighters.com and the band’s socials for a crapload more shows to be announced.

Once they’re finally able to actually hit the road for a proper tour, it will mark the band’s first since the release of Medicine at Midnight, the Foos’ at times adventurous new studio album that was released in February 2021.
