This Wednesday, July 22, a special live stream event will take place for COVID-19 relief, on behalf of Live Nation’s Crew Nation charity and its efforts to help music crews displaced by the pandemic. The Fenway Sessions will feature performances from Foo Fighters, Jimmy Buffett, Jefferson Starship, New Kids on the Block and more.

The Fenway Sessions stream is live right now on Facebook – click here to watch.

Said Boston Red Sox President/CEO Sam Kennedy of the show, which will feature archival performance footage from acts who have graced the baseball cathedral over the years:

“Will Dailey has been a close friend of mine for years and when he approached us with the idea to host an event that would celebrate music and Fenway Park, all while raising funds for charity, we were completely on board. Of course, this event would not be possible without our partners at Live Nation who have been instrumental in securing the talented artists who have graced the stage at Fenway Park since 2003. Once again, they have helped us deliver on an exceptional program, this time virtual, that pays tribute to music and our great ballpark.”

To date, the Foo Fighters have played four concerts at Fenway Park, including two in July 2018:

Jimmy Buffett, meanwhile, has played three gigs at the historic ballpark over the years, twice in 2004 and another in 2018:
