Doyle Bramhall II will return on September 30 with a new album called Rich Man, and earlier this week the blues/rock guitarist premiered a video for a song called Mama Can’t Help You. Featuring legendary drummer James Gadson behind the kit, the song is a fantastic few minutes of blues power:

Rich Man, Bramhall’s first album since 2001, will be out on September 30 via Concord Music, and is a tribute to Bramhall’s father, Doyle Bramhall, who passed away in 2011. The elder Bramhall was a lifelong colleague of Jimmie and Stevie Ray Vaughan, as well as drummer for Lightnin’ Hopkins and Freddie King.
