“Pretty Paper” is a song written by Willie Nelson way back in 1963. Telling the tale of a street vendor selling paper and pencils on the street during the Christmas season, the song was a big hit when performed by Roy Orbison, before Nelson shared his own rendition in 1964. Recently, Dolly Parton and Willie teamed up to record a lovely duet version, which appears on Parton‘s delightful recent album A Holly Dolly Christmas.
