Dee Snider Releasing Solo LP 'We Are the Ones' on 10/28, Watch New Version of 'We're Not Gonna Take It'

With Twisted Sister coming to an end, front man Dee Snider is focusing on his solo career – and will release a new album, We Are the Ones, on October 28.
Snider has launched a PledgeMusic campaign for the album, offering up various pre-order packages including signed memorabilia, vinyl, t-shirts, and exclusive benefits such as private concerts, voicemail greetings and more.
One track featured on the new album is a re-recorded version of the classic hit We’re Not Gonna Take It, re-imagined with an acoustic arrangement in a new video focusing on children’s’ cancer research:

Intriguingly, We Are the Ones will also feature a cover of Nine Inch Nails‘ Head Like a Hole, about which Snider had the following to say:
“I always thought it was a great song, a powerful song, I can’t wait to do that one live. Like ‘We’re Not Gonna Take It’ is iconic, ‘Head Like a Hole’ is iconic for that era.”
Snider is also mapping out a fall tour in support of the album.
