Cruel World Festival: Morrissey, Blondie, Bauhaus, Devo, Echo & the Bunnymen & More — May 2022 in Pasadena

Next spring, Goldenvoice’s Cruel World Festival — originally planned for 2020, rescheduled for obvious reasons — will be held at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif.

The lineup is a very impressive array of A-list names from the 1980s, and for the most part they’re all back for the new version of the event, scheduled for May 14, 2022. A notable exception is Gary Numan, who will not be participating in the 2022 event despite being part of the original announcement (Numan just released a new album, Intruder, and has his own touring obligations next year).
