When you hear “there’s new music from Coldplay,” you no doubt expect big, sweeping anthems led by Chris Martin’s soft, soothing voice.

On Thursday, the band dropped a pair of new songs from a new album titled Everyday Life, which will be released on Nov. 22.

And yes, both songs are gigantic, sweeping anthems. Here’s “Orphans”:

And here’s “Arabesque,” which features guest spots from Stromae (on vocals) and Femi Kuti’s band (horns):

Everyday Life will be Coldplay’s eighth full-length to date and the follow-up to 2015’s A Head Full of Dreams.

It seems inevitable that the release of Everyday Life will coincide with some major, global touring news for 2020 and beyond, though that remains to be announced.

Here’s its track listing:

1.” Sunset”
2. “Chruch”
3. “Trouble In Town”
4. “Broken”
5. “Daddy”
6. “WOTW/POTP”
7. “Arabesque”
8. “When I Need A Friend”
9. “Guns”
10. “Orphans”
11. “Eko”
12. “Cry Cry Cry”
13. “Old Friends”
14. “بنی آدم””
15. “Champion Of The World”
16. “Everyday Life”

And be sure to catch Coldplay on Saturday Night Live on Nov. 2, when they will appear as the musical guests in an episode hosted by Kristen Stewart, presumably playing these two new songs.
