Buzz: Coachella 2020 Lineup to Feature Rage Against the Machine, Frank Ocean, Travis Scott, My Chemical Romance, Thom Yorke

We’re a few days to a week away from the expected official announcement of the 2020 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, one of the industry’s most popular music festivals.
The spring fest is set for April 10-12 and 17-19 in Indio, California, and a recent report from Us Weekly listed Rage Against the Machine, Frank Ocean and Travis Scott as the expected headliners. That has now been corroborated by Consequence of Sound, which reported Monday night that Coachella ’20 will feature, among many other acts:
Rage Against the Machine
Travis Scott
Frank Ocean
Thom Yorke
My Chemical Romance
Lana Del Rey
and Flume.
Many of these acts’ names have been circulating around the internet for a few weeks now, including the very active Coachella Reddit fan board. And ever since My Chemical Romance announced its reformation and reunion show on Oct. 31, their name became one of the most discussed as well (the reunion show looked like a blast, by the way).
Rage Against the Machine, meanwhile, also had reunion buzz back in early November, with a slate of live performances popping up on the 2020 schedule as well, two of them designated for Coachella — and by all reports, that’s definitely happening in the new year.
Many among social media and the rumor mill expect Goldenvoice to fully announce the entire 2020 Coachella roster and details imminently — perhaps as soon as the end of this week, if not early next week — so stay tuned!
