This past week, something rare happened: Robbie Williams performed in the United States. Williams, one of the world’s biggest and most successful pop stars for the past 20+ years, hadn’t performed in the states in roughly 15 years. Despite being an institution of rock/pop music with an edgy, cheeky sense of humor that has combined to make him a global icon, fame and attention has eluded him stateside, so much so that he’d effectively given up his efforts to “win” the country’s favor. Then, in November, Williams announced his first-ever residency in Las Vegas, set for the Encore Theatre at…

We don’t have to remind you how phenomenally successful the recent Queen/Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody has been since its release back in November. The film received mostly positive critical reception but has been a mammoth box-office success, earning actor Rami Malek an Actor in a Leading Role Oscar for his portrayal of Mercury. Might, then, the Queen camp be eager to capitalize on its success and get a sequel in production? According to the latest buzz … perhaps? As Page Six reported on Monday, Rudi Dolezal, a music video director who worked with the band on more than a…

Space. The final frontier. For centuries, mankind has sought to seek a partnership with our neighbors from another dimension in hopes of furthering the cause of both species. The life forms that Los Angeles-based four-piece Rival Tides square off against in their new video for “Vultures” are very hostile, so the band had to stage quite an epic space quest to restore balance to the galaxy. The video, premiered on Monday via Pure Grain Audio, finds the band members in flashy suits, sporting flashy space laser guns and…
