Watch Brian Johnson (of AC/DC) and Sting Visit CBGB’s Old Site in a Clip from Johnson’s ‘A Life on the Road’ TV Series

On September 15, AXS TV will begin airing A Life On the Road, the music series helmed by longtime AC/DCvocalist Brian Johnson. Until now, the show aired on television over in England, but had not had an official U.S. partner until AXS’ acquisition of the series earlier this year.
In anticipation of the series’ stateside premiere, AXS has made a clip from the premiere episode featuring Sting available for preview purposes.
From the news release:
The series premiere finds Johnson traveling to New York City to catch up with 17-time GRAMMY-winning rock superstar Sting. In this exclusive first-look, the pair heads to the former site of The Police’s first gig, the quintessential punk venue CBGB’s, which Sting describes as “kind of a spooky place… it was full of history.” Though it was a premier destination for established acts and up-and-coming stars alike, the venue’s accommodations were less than glitzy—this, however, only added to its charm and mystique. Sting explains, “It was a bathroom that was the dressing room, and it was a toilet [with] graffiti everywhere. There was a little stage ‘round the corner, maybe 100 people you’d get in there at the most.”
