And ‘Just Like That …’, Bonnie Raitt Lands Six No. 1 Billboard Chart Debuts with New Record (Listen)

Since releasing her 21st studio album, Just Like That …, on April 22, blues-rock singer/songwriter/guitarist Bonnie Raitt has scored a major milestone for her legendary career.
The record landed at No. 1 on six different Billboard album charts since its release.
Per a news release, this list includes No. Current Album, No. 1 Current Rock Album, No. 1 Americana / Folk Album, No. 1 Blues Album, No. 1 Internet Album and No. 1 Independent Record Label Current Albums. It landed at No. 2 on the iTunes U.S. Top Albums chart, trailing only Pusha T’s It’s Almost Dry — surely the only time you’ll see Bonnie Raitt and Pusha T’s named referenced together.
A big motivator for the album’s fast success is the single “Made Up Mind,” which has scored a significant airplay hit as No. 1 on the Americana Radio Singles Chart for four weeks, also being included on major Spotify and Apple Music playlists including Rockin’ Vibes, Americana Icons, Got Blues,Grade A, Made for Spatial Audio, New Music Daily, and New In Rock & Roadhouse.
“On this record, I wanted to stretch,” said Bonnie Raitt of Just Like That … “I always want to find songs that excite me, and what’s different this time is that I’ve tried some styles and topics I haven’t touched on before.”
