If you don’t follow Bob Weir on social media, you should.
The Grateful Dead legend has been sharing videos recently of his rigorous workout regimen — particularly rigorous considering he’s 71 years old.
Last week, Weir began another big summer tour with Dead and Company, which will keep them all busy for a few weeks. Over the weekend, Weir shared a video that is both relaxing and motivational, depicting him smashing a block with a hammer in one of the most beautiful backdrops imaginable: the Gorge in Washington state.
If that doesn’t give you some #MondayMotivation, I’m not sure what will.
Weir isn’t new to posting workout videos on his social pages, either.
Keep it up, Bob! You’re an inspiration to us all.
For more on Dead and Company’s big tour, be sure to read our new chat with drummer Bill Kreutzmann — who says he doesn’t really remember those classic Grateful Dead gigs from decades ago …
I don’t really remember shows, though. People think that I do, but I don’t really. I just have a really good feeling about what I got to do with the Grateful Dead. It was a lot of fun and exciting that I got to turn people on and make them happy.
