Bob Weir & Wolf Bros. Playing Chinese New Year Live Stream Concert from TRI Studios 2/12

On Feb. 12, Bob Weir & Wolf Bros. — the Grateful Dead legend and pals Don Was and Jay Lane, as well as special guests Jeff Chimenti, Greg Leisz and The Wolf Pack — will stream a special live performance from Weir’s TRI Studios in Northern California, geared around celebrating the Chinese New Year.
The streaming concert event is meant to harken back to the Grateful Dead‘s many similar Chinese New Year concert events, and will be streamed via FANS.live at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on Feb. 12 for $19.99 in advance or $24.99 the day of the show.

More on the show, per a news release:
Weir is joined by a pair of familiar bandmates in the Wolf Bros: legendary producer Don Was on bass and Jay Lane (RatDog) on drums. The performance will also feature Jeff Chimenti on keys and Greg Leisz on pedal steel, along with special guests The Wolf Pack: Alex Kelly, Brian Switzer, Adam Theis, Mads Tolling and Sheldon Brown.
Weir and his Wolf Bros. pals have kept plenty busy throughout the tumultuous past year or so of pandemic lockdowns and the inability to play actual, in-person concerts. In addition to a few other live stream gigs, Wolf Bros. staged an NPR Tiny Desk concert shortly before the lockdowns took effect. Take a look/listen:
