Watch's Blondie Music Video for 'Fun,' Lead Single Off Upcoming Album 'Pollinator'
Debbie Harry and Blondie recently announced plans for a very busy 2017, with a new album, Pollinator, coming out May 5 and a big co-headlining summer tour with Shirley Manson and Garbage.
On Wednesday, Blondie continued its flurry of news lately with a premiere of the music video for “Fun,” the lead single off Pollinator. Take a look:
That video’s quite…well, “fun”, isn’t it? Not to mention catchy…
The video was directed by Dikayl Rimmasch, who worked with Beyonce on her Lemonade album videos and Formation World Tour. Rimmasch had nothing but complimentary things to say about working with Blondie on the clip (which was inspired in part by their experiences at various New York City nightclubs in the ’70s). Said Rimmasch:
