This weekend, Black Sabbath officially brought their The End Tour to a rousing finish at Genting Arena in Birmingham, England.
Their lengthy trek, which began back in 2016 and was extended up until just this weekend, served as a exclamation mark on a legendary, almost mythical career. Each night, Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and touring drummer Tommy Clufetos celebrated their rich history as heavy metal icons, slamming through hits like “War Pigs,” “Paranoid,” “Iron Man” and many others.
At the tour finale in Birmingham, the band’s social media accounts captured the set’s final song, “Paranoid,” as well as their final bow and goodbye after the sing’s rousing finish:
So, is this in fact The End of Black Sabbath? Will the guys never again get together onstage to play some of their classic songs? We’ll just have to see…
