Best New Music: Stream Thrice's Awaited New Album, 'To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere'
After a lengthy hiatus, So*Cal alt/rockers Thrice returned last week with a new album titled To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere.
A charged, layered collection of songs that serves as a solid follow-up to 2011’s Major/Minor, TBEITBN finds the band at its absolute best. As drummer Riley Breckenridge explained to us in a Q&A a few months back, the band worked on the new material for some time, throughout the West Coast.
What resulted is a resilient collection of songs blending styles from throughout the band’s versatile career – which began with hard-rock/metal undertones and has since progressed into a unique pastiche of alt/rock, indie and, at times, experimental approaches.
