Respected music veterans Depeche Mode announced a new album on Tuesday. Spirit, their first bit of new material since 2013’s Delta Machine, was created in collaboration with Simian Mobile Disco’s James Ford. Front man Dave Gahan sounds particularly excited about the new music, as quoted by Rolling Stone: “We’re working on the album with a new team: it’s produced by James Ford [of Simian Mobile Disco], and he’s helped us to make what we feel is a very incredible sounding record.
